Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain one in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous SLP experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based SLP therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress documentation as required by school policies
- Offer consultation and in-service training to staff and families on communication disorders
- Adapt interventions to meet varying age and developmental levels
