Step into a rewarding contract position shaping young minds and voices as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. Your expertise will serve students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential communication and language services throughout the academic year.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: August 12, 2026 – June 4, 2027
  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite only, supporting various school sites in an itinerant capacity
  • Caseloads tailored to your strengths, preferences, and experience, offering a personalized professional experience
  • Serve as a valued onsite SLP, stepping in to provide continuity of care and direct support as the district transitions away from virtual service providers

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California SLP license and active certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly desired
  • Ability to support a K-12 population across multiple sites with excellent time management and adaptability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language services for K-12 students
  • Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Travel between assigned school sites as an itinerant SLP
