School Speech Language Pathologist - Dorchester, Massachusetts

Key qualifications and experience:

• Holds or is eligible for SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY credentials
• Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
• Familiarity or willingness to learn the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment
• Prior work with preschool or early elementary caseloads preferred
• Excellent observation, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct 5-6 preschool evaluations each week as an observer using the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment tool
• Serve as a collaborative team member during multidisciplinary evaluations
• Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 10 preschool students split between morning and afternoon classes
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans to support students’ speech and language goals
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other allied professionals to ensure holistic support
