Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and active professional license to practice in Georgia
- Current state licensure and GA PSC credential (Professional Standards Commission – new requirement)
- Current or eligible ASHA certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status (CF)
- Experience working with high school student populations preferred
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between two nearby school sites
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Offer guidance and support in classroom settings to promote inclusive communication strategies
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes to ensure compliance with educational standards
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment for each student
