School Speech Language Pathologist - Douglasville, Georgia

This contract opportunity allows you to nurture young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school, as well as support high school students during a maternity leave coverage from December through April. Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants and SLPs with CCC welcomed
• Experience in school settings, particularly at elementary and/or high school levels, is advantageous
• Skilled in administering screenings, assessments, and interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ communication needs and provide targeted support
• Develop and implement effective treatment strategies that foster student development and participation in the classroom
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and collaborate on IEP team meetings
• Provide supportive resources and consultation to educators and families to maximize student success
• Adapt therapy approaches to diverse and dynamic school environments
