Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also strongly encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued, though not required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit for working with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to both elementary and high school populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for students in assigned schools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and monitor progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation following school and state guidelines
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to promote students’ ongoing development
