Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Accepting both Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially at the elementary level
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop strategies and accommodations for student success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and compliance documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
  • Engage with families and caregivers to communicate progress and provide support resources
