Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Accepting both Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, especially at the elementary level
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop strategies and accommodations for student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and compliance documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Engage with families and caregivers to communicate progress and provide support resources
