Make a difference each day by supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Dover, DE. This full-time, on-site opportunity allows you to contribute to the academic and communication growth of students for the upcoming school year. You’ll join a collaborative team providing therapy services, conducting evaluations, and participating in the IEP process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Delaware SLP licensure/certification (required; please provide license verification with your application)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency with school-provider software such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP
  • Experience with evaluations, IEP development, and progress documentation
  • Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
  • SLPAs will not be considered for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students (grades and caseloads assigned upon hire)
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and compose detailed reports
  • Collaborate effectively with educators and other professionals in IEP meetings
  • Develop, write, and implement individualized IEP goals
  • Track student progress and document therapy session notes in compliance with school policies
  • Actively engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture

This position offers a contract schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
