Transform students’ lives as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY), supporting learners from kindergarten through age 22 in a vibrant school environment near Dover, DE. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the developmental and educational journeys of students with a diverse range of communication needs, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Eligibility for (or possession of) a Delaware SLP license is required
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-Autism Specialist credentials welcome
- Prior experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for collaborative teamwork
- Problem-solving ability and flexibility in dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored speech-language therapy, including interventions for articulation, social communication, voice, oral-motor skills, feeding, and augmentative communication
- Assess and implement assistive technology to promote student success
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, followed by detailed, insightful documentation
- Develop and monitor IEP goals based on each student’s unique needs
- Maintain ongoing, transparent communication with parents and fellow professionals
- Foster the academic and personal growth of students ages 2–22, including individuals with autism and significant language delays
