Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or in progress of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to meet each student’s IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to foster students’ academic and social success
- Maintain detailed documentation of progress and participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to the school community
