Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing dedicated speech language therapy services for children and young adults, from kindergarten up to 22 years old. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours each week within a supportive educational environment near Dover, DE. Engage with students presenting a range of needs, including moderate to severe disabilities, and contribute to their growth and communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver speech-language therapy, addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding challenges, and receptive/expressive language delays.
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluative assessments; compile detailed, insightful assessment reports.
  • Support the development, implementation, and documentation of IEP objectives to drive student success.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff to monitor developmental progress and identify areas requiring support.
  • Adapt strategies and interventions for students across a wide age and ability range, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Holds or is eligible for a Delaware state license (SLP or CFY welcome to apply).
  • Experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative, adaptable mindset.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and effective problem-solving abilities.
