Seeking motivated Speech-Language Pathologists or Clinical Fellows for a contract-based opportunity working onsite in a specialized educational environment near Dover, DE. This role is ideal for those with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with Autism and other developmental needs, primarily spanning pre-kindergarten through elementary, but also extending up to 22 years old. Immediate openings available, with assignments starting as soon as possible and continuing through Extended School Year and into the next academic session. Enjoy a steady, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (30 hours during ESY).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Holds or eligible for state licensure as an SLP or CFY
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with students and school teams
- Experience or strong interest in working with students on the Autism spectrum and those with mid to low cognitive and communication functioning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in a SPED-focused setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver therapy and support to students across a variety of age groups, with caseloads primarily in PK and elementary
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to create individualized learning strategies
- Collect and report data on student progress and adjust plans as needed to maximize outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and help shape long-term educational goals for each student
