School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Dover, Delaware

Make a meaningful impact in the school community by providing essential speech-language services to students. Several openings are available for dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to support children across preschool, elementary, middle, and high school levels for the upcoming school year. Both in-person and virtual candidates will be considered for select roles.

Openings are available for:

• Two full-time SLPs for 1st-5th grade caseloads (August 25, 2026 - November 13, 2026), with virtual opportunities.
• One full-time SLP for middle and high school students (6th-12th grade, shared between two sites, November 6, 2026 - February 17, 2026), with the option to follow an earlier elementary leave and virtual roles available.
• One full-time preschool SLP (ages 3-4) from August 25, 2026 to October 16, 2026, requiring in-person availability.
• One full-time Kindergarten SLP, focusing on students with Autism, running August 25, 2026 through November 13, 2026, in-person only.

Desired qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
• Prior experience working with students in educational settings preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort with virtual service delivery platforms (where applicable)
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
