Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Work directly with students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Consult with classroom teachers on strategies to reinforce communication goals
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility evaluations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain before start)
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous school or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
