Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF applicants considered
- Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy to meet individualized education program (IEP) requirements
- Team player, collaborative, problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Maintain diligent documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Serve as a resource and support to teachers and families regarding speech-related challenges
