Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Delaware
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF applicants considered
  • Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy to meet individualized education program (IEP) requirements
  • Team player, collaborative, problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Maintain diligent documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team conferences
  • Serve as a resource and support to teachers and families regarding speech-related challenges
  • Foster a welcoming, engaging environment that supports diverse learners
