Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Work directly with students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and support compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Consult with classroom teachers on strategies to reinforce communication goals
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility evaluations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain before start)
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Previous school or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
