Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Dover, DE | Special Education School

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Dover, Delaware. This position is within a special education school serving primarily PreK and elementary-aged students, with the potential to work with students up to age 22.

Position Details:

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Starting ASAP – June 16, 2027
- Primarily PreK and elementary, with students up to age 22
- Special education school setting
- Student population includes individuals with Autism and moderate to significant support needs
- Onsite only

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs.
- Support students with a range of communication needs, including students with Autism and more significant support needs.
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data and documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and other school staff.
- Implement individualized communication strategies to support students’ functional and academic needs.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active or eligible Delaware SLP licensure/certification
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with students with Autism and significant support needs strongly preferred
- Experience with AAC and functional communication is a plus
- Strong collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
- Must be available to work onsite
