Step into a vital role supporting K-5 students in a welcoming academic environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment, conveniently based at a single location near Dover, NJ, begins September 14, 2026—and may allow for an early start to get acquainted with staff and prepare for the school year. You’ll be working through December 18th, providing essential speech therapy services to approximately 45 elementary students in grades K-5. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs interested in in-person, teletherapy, or clinical fellow year (CFY) experiences.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility to practice in New Jersey
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress (CFY welcome)
  • Experience working within pediatric or school-based settings
  • Comfort managing a caseload of diverse speech/language needs
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and the special education process
  • Ability to deliver services via in-person and teletherapy modalities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for K-5 students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver 8-9 therapy sessions daily, ensuring meaningful progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in student support meetings
  • Provide input for IEPs and participate in meetings as needed
