Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to a vibrant group of elementary school students. In this flexible, school-based role, you’ll be working with young learners (K-5) to help them thrive in both communication and academics. This assignment is conveniently based at a single campus in the Dover, NJ area, so you can focus on building strong relationships with your students and colleagues alike.

Enjoy a consistent schedule of 8–9 sessions per day, supporting approximately 45 students throughout the assignment. The position begins September 14, 2026, with the possibility to get started a day or so earlier for preparation, and wraps up on December 18th. The setting offers both in-person and teletherapy opportunities, making this ideal for candidates who enjoy a blend of service modalities.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP, CFY candidates, or valid state licensure
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
  • Effective communication and collaborative skills
  • Passion for helping elementary-aged children succeed
  • Familiarity with IEP process and student goal-setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for K-5 students
  • Maintain session logs and progress reports
  • Support IEP development, meetings, and compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student communication
  • Customize therapy strategies to individual student needs
  • Use telehealth tools for virtual sessions as needed
