This full-time, contract opportunity is focused on working with an elementary caseload in a collaborative school-based environment. You’ll utilize your expertise and passion for helping children overcome speech and language challenges to foster academic and personal growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license (state requirements must be met for assignment)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Familiarity with elementary school populations and IEP processes
- Teletherapy experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of elementary-aged students, delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in line with students’ IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators to support student needs
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide teletherapy services, as needed, to ensure students continue receiving care in varying circumstances
