Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualifications accepted
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 5th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy in individual and small group settings
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district standards
- Address a range of speech, language, and communication challenges that impact academic success
- Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
