Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong background in creating and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Knowledge of consultative service delivery and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct speech-language therapy to students (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Deliver consultative services to support teachers and families in fostering language development
- Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Adapt communication strategies and materials to student needs and learning environments
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
This full-year contract covers 187 school days, prorated for the current year, with the opportunity for continuation into the following school year based on fit and performance. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45am–3:30pm. Your caseload will include 38 elementary students, 13 middle school students, and 1 high school student, blending both consultation and direct intervention.
