Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or equivalent field
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and report-writing skills
  • Comfort collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings effectively
  • Serve as a resource to educators and families regarding speech/language development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions
