Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs will also be considered
  • Previous school-based SLP experience desirable, though not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and maintain thorough records
  • Adaptability and a student-centered, positive approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech-language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain IEP compliance, and participate in meetings as needed
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
  • Provide support and resources to classroom staff for in-class strategies
  • Stay current on best practices and professional standards within school-based SLP
