Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or equivalent field
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and report-writing skills
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with school staff
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students, both individually and in groups
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings effectively
- Serve as a resource to educators and families regarding speech/language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions
