Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure and certification as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but open to motivated professionals eager to support K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, individualized education plans (IEPs), and evidence-based therapy approaches
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s strengths and goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adapting interventions to suit diverse learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations with stakeholders
- Offer support and training to staff and families regarding communication disorders and therapy strategies
