Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Dedication to evidence-based, student-centered practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans, tailored to individual needs
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in groups
  • Document ongoing progress and participate in IEP meetings as a team member
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Educate and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
