Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication development with this dynamic school-based opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract assignment offers a unique blend of settings and experiences, beginning January 5, 2026. You'll spend three days each week at an elementary school and two days at a preschool center through March 27, 2026. After April 13, 2026, your focus shifts to four days each week at the preschool center, continuing through June 1, 2026.

The ideal professional will bring expertise in working with school-aged children as well as younger learners and demonstrate exceptional skill in fostering growth in students’ language and communication abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license or eligibility in Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in either school-based or pediatric settings
  • Familiarity with IEPs, student evaluations, and collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt approaches to meet students’ varying needs across elementary and preschool environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to children in both elementary and preschool settings
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions and monitor progress
  • Participate in meetings, documentation, and student planning activities as needed
