This contract role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrives in diverse school-based environments. Assignments are structured in two phases: from January 5, 2026, to March 27, 2026, you’ll spend three days each week at an elementary school and two days at a preschool center. Starting April 13, 2026, through June 1, 2026, your focus shifts to the preschool center four days per week.
What you’ll bring:
• Current SLP-CCC credentials
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress reporting, and collaboration with special education teams
• Excellent communication skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage multiple sites and adjust to evolving student needs
• Ability to adapt speech-language interventions to meet diverse student backgrounds and challenges
What you’ll do:
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with varying speech and language disorders
• Conduct therapy sessions individually or in small groups across assigned sites
• Document interventions, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Communicate regularly with educators and caregivers regarding student progress
