Step into a dynamic and rewarding opportunity supporting K-8 students as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This role allows you to make a positive difference by providing expert speech and language services in a welcoming school environment. You'll work with a diverse caseload of 18 students, delivering a total of 2,700 therapy minutes per quarter, with a manageable schedule of up to 20 hours per week. Beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year, this flexible contract position is perfect for professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech therapy.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license and SLP-CCC certification
  • Prior experience working with pediatric and school-age populations (K-8 strongly preferred)
  • Background in managing caseloads and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Outstanding communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-8
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Provide direct therapy services, meeting a quarterly therapy minute goal
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with school standards
  • Collaborate actively with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
