This full-time, contract opportunity spans the 2026–2027 academic year, with positions available across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a start date of August 3, 2026, you’ll have the opportunity to serve diverse age groups and support students in achieving their communication goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license
  • Experience or genuine interest in working in a school setting with varied age groups
  • Ability to start credentialing immediately, including the Virginia Department of Social Services background check and a current TB test
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development throughout the school year
  • Manage a caseload spanning students from multiple grade levels, with assignments determined by availability
