Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
  • Team-oriented mindset for working alongside teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide resources and education for families and staff to support student success
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting therapy approaches as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
