Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
- Team-oriented mindset for working alongside teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide resources and education for families and staff to support student success
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting therapy approaches as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
