Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Dunkirk, NY

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure and SLP certification required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with K-12 students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services in speech, language, voice, and fluency
• Deliver 20 high-quality sessions (30 minutes each) per week following IEP goals and district standards
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and other specialists to support each student’s progress
• Develop and maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Communicate clearly with parents and staff regarding student development and intervention planning
• Participate fully in meetings (M-F, 7:45am–3:00pm) and contribute to the school community’s positive, inclusive environment
