If you’re an experienced SLP-CCC with a passion for supporting students’ communication growth, this school-based contract opportunity near Durham, NC, could be an excellent fit. In this role, you will provide in-person services on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week) throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid and active SLP-CCC certification (CFYs not considered)
  • Current professional license and educator certificate
  • Minimum of one year providing SLP services in a school setting
  • Willingness to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and register with NC Tracks before your start date
  • Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting prior to beginning
  • Flexible, adaptive mindset; ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered therapy practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students as assigned
  • Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Manage a dynamic caseload at multiple schools within the district (assignments and ages will be provided during placement)
