Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current, active SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Certification appropriate for school-based settings
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Confidence in both group therapy and individualized 1:1 sessions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Provide direct therapy to students, adapting methods as needed for each age group and setting
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to foster overall student achievement and success
- Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to support student development
- Participate in school-related meetings, workshops, and professional development as needed
