Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current, active SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
  • Certification appropriate for school-based settings
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Confidence in both group therapy and individualized 1:1 sessions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
  • Provide direct therapy to students, adapting methods as needed for each age group and setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to foster overall student achievement and success
  • Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to support student development
  • Participate in school-related meetings, workshops, and professional development as needed
