Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license for Iowa or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong CFY SLPs encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery models
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with a range of needs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to student progress meetings
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with all administrative guidelines
- Offer support and training for staff and families to reinforce communication strategies
