Opportunities include:
- Washington Center: Work in a self-contained environment supporting students aged 3-21 who are medically fragile and profoundly impaired. Expertise with AAC devices and a compassionate, family-centered approach are vital. Collaborate with another dedicated SLP in this state-of-the-art facility.
- Chandler Creek Elementary + Crestview Elementary: Share your skills across two elementary campuses, joining established teams that include other full-time SLPs.
- Welcome Elementary + additional sites: Split time among Welcome Elementary, Greenville’s virtual academy, and a future assigned location. Work alongside SLP colleagues while reaching both in-person and remote learners.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid SC Speech-Language Pathologist License
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- AAC device proficiency (especially for Washington Center position)
- Commitment to student-centered, collaborative practice
- New graduates with SLP-CF credential may be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
- Complete evaluations and develop IEPs as part of multidisciplinary teams
