Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable with maintaining accurate, timely documentation and reports
- Initiative, compassion, and adaptability in a school environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech/language or occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, evaluate, and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate interventions in daily classroom activities
- Support student access to the educational curriculum by recommending adaptive strategies and modifications
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support teams as required
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
