Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP - CCC certification
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to adapt in a diverse, multi-grade school community

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and success
  • Monitor student development and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
  • Provide input and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain thorough and timely records documenting evaluations, sessions, and progress
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
