Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
- Experience providing SLP services in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments
- Proficiency with virtual therapy tools and teletherapy delivery (preferred but not required)
- Compassionate communicator, collaborative, and committed to student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Provide both direct and virtual therapy sessions to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress, maintain student records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer support and training to educational staff on communication strategies
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
