Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
  • Experience providing SLP services in schools, pediatric settings, or healthcare environments
  • Proficiency with virtual therapy tools and teletherapy delivery (preferred but not required)
  • Compassionate communicator, collaborative, and committed to student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Provide both direct and virtual therapy sessions to meet diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain student records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Offer support and training to educational staff on communication strategies
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
