Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship
  • State licensure (or able to obtain) to practice as an SLP in Indiana
  • Previous experience in a school setting (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload, adapt to varying needs, and work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals within IEP guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide professional input for student success
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress
  • Offer consultation and resources to teachers to foster inclusive classroom environments
  • Remain current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
