Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Michigan (SLP-CFs are not eligible for this role)
  • CCC certification required
  • Prior experience working within school settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy to K-4th grade students, addressing individual speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging interventions within individual and group settings
  • Partner with educators and parents to foster communication skill development
  • Maintain accurate records reflecting student progress and session notes
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and case conferences as appropriate
