Qualifications:

  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students across multiple grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and facilitate speech/language therapy for students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs in collaboration with educational teams
  • Consult with teachers and families to accelerate progress and promote inclusion in the classroom
  • Maintain timely, thorough documentation of services provided and progress tracked
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, providing professional insight on student progress and recommendations for intervention
  • Serve as a resource, providing support and guidance on best practices for communication disorders
