Step into a rewarding role supporting students throughout the full school year as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for both full-time and part-time candidates with a passion for working in educational settings. You’ll play an integral part in helping students reach their communication goals while serving a manageable caseload of 20 students. This position is located near East Millinocket, ME, and offers the added flexibility of exploring VOCO (virtual/remote) service options.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Prior experience in school settings is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting student growth and success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff
  • Provide support either onsite, or explore the VOCO model for remote therapy sessions
