A well-established staffing agency is seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive speech therapy in a K-12 school setting. This role is vital in supporting students with communication disorders, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and resources throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Location:
- West Enfield, ME
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Provide direct services to a caseload of 20 students, tailored to their individual goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions effectively
