Position Details:
- Location: Pre-K program at Mt. View Elementary School, East Orange, NJ
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 18, 2026
- Weekly Hours: 35 hours
- Caseload: Approximately 13 students, ages 2 to 4 years
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to Pre-K students, focusing on enhancing communication skills and addressing speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and healthcare guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric experience preferred.
- Credentials may include SLP in school settings, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility or completion, and CCC certification.
- Ability to work effectively with young children ages 2-4.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
