Position Details:

  • Location: Pre-K program at Mt. View Elementary School, East Orange, NJ
  • Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 18, 2026
  • Weekly Hours: 35 hours
  • Caseload: Approximately 13 students, ages 2 to 4 years
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to Pre-K students, focusing on enhancing communication skills and addressing speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and healthcare guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric experience preferred.
  • Credentials may include SLP in school settings, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility or completion, and CCC certification.
  • Ability to work effectively with young children ages 2-4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
