Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
• Previous experience in school-based settings is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, adjusting approaches to diverse learning needs
• Complete comprehensive assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support students’ communication goals
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and ongoing collaboration with staff
