Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Illinois
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Expertise in teletherapy services is a plus
- Ability to develop rapport with elementary-aged children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Provide direct therapy to elementary school students both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents
- Accurately document student progress and maintain timely records
- Serve as an integral resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance for classroom strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute actively to the overall educational experience for each student
