Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Saint Louis, IL

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Illinois
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
• Expertise in teletherapy services is a plus
• Ability to develop rapport with elementary-aged children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Provide direct therapy to elementary school students both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and parents
• Accurately document student progress and maintain timely records
• Serve as an integral resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance for classroom strategies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute actively to the overall educational experience for each student
