Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Recent experience providing speech therapy in schools or pediatric settings
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
  • Knowledge of IEP process and school documentation requirements
  • Passion for supporting students’ learning and social success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to generalize therapy strategies across settings
