Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Recent experience providing speech therapy in schools or pediatric settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of IEP process and school documentation requirements
- Passion for supporting students’ learning and social success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to generalize therapy strategies across settings
