Your qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in New York (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Prior experience or clinical rotations in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- A commitment to supporting diverse student populations
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams
- Complete assessments, progress notes, and documentation in a timely manner
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and support staff to deliver holistic care
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
- Maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions
