Make a positive impact working with elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. You’ll work with a dynamic school community near East Weymouth, MA, supporting a diverse student caseload and collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.
This position is ideal for a clinician passionate about pediatric speech therapy, adept with AAC devices, and enthusiastic about fostering communication growth in young learners. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day, offering consistent full-time hours in a school-based environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working in school or pediatric environments preferred
- Skilled in healthcare-based or teletherapy settings is valuable
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with AAC devices is required
- SLPA and SLP-Healthcare backgrounds welcomed
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student progress
- Facilitate use and training of AAC devices with students and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing input to multidisciplinary teams
