Working Monday through Friday for 6.5 hours each day, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and a passionate school community to deliver evidence-based therapy and foster growth in students requiring speech and language support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
- Experience with pediatric and elementary caseloads
- Familiarity with teletherapy and comfort with technology integration
- Proficiency working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices is essential
- Background in school-based and/or healthcare SLP services
- Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to inclusive education
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Integrate AAC devices to support students’ communication goals
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and complete compliance paperwork
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student-centered planning
- Contribute to a positive school climate, supporting the development of each child’s abilities
