What you bring:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational or special education settings
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques
  • Ability to tailor sessions for medically fragile students, considering their unique needs
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families and educational teams
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation efficiently

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct two 45-minute speech therapy sessions per week in the student’s home
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language goals
  • Track progress and adjust interventions as required, providing ongoing updates to the student’s care team
  • Collaborate closely with caregivers and educational staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Foster trust and motivation, encouraging the student’s communication growth in a caring, safe environment
  • Maintain accurate session records and contribute to reports as needed for the educational program
