What We’re Seeking:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Maryland SLP license (required)
- Experience delivering speech-language services in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with K–12 student populations and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and multiple student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K–12 students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs
- Maintain thorough records and timely progress reporting
- Collaborate with educational teams to support students’ academic and personal development
- Engage families in the intervention process and share progress updates
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
