We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital services to preschool-aged students (ages 3-5) within welcoming school environments. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for diverse learners, ranging from articulation needs to limited communication abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, targeting each child’s unique communication goals
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver holistic services and maximize student successes
- Leading small group or one-on-one therapy sessions, both in classroom and designated therapy spaces
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes for each student on your caseload (no more than 50 students)
- Participating in IEP meetings, progress updates, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students’ needs
- Providing guidance to caregivers and staff on effective strategies for supporting communication at home and in the classroom
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and certification for schools
- Experience with early childhood populations or a sincere interest in supporting ages 3-5
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively with families and school teams
- Flexibility and adaptability—willing to adjust hours or schedules to help accommodate student needs
- Compassionate, creative approach to therapy, with a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion
This contract role begins October 1, 2026 and runs through July 30, 2026, with schedule flexibility between the hours of 7:45am and 3:15pm and openness to part-time contributions.
