Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite (virtual opportunities are not available)
  • Experience with diverse student populations across K-12 is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed progress records
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Provide consultation and training for school personnel to implement effective communication strategies
  • Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
  • Maintain compliance with state and district reporting requirements
