Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Onsite Only

District: Ecorse Public Schools Location: Ecorse, Michigan Schedule: Full-Time, K–12 Caseload Contract Dates: August 2026 – June 25, 2027

Position Summary

Ecorse Public Schools is seeking a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students for the 2026–2027 school year. This role requires a clinician who is confident working face‑to‑face with students, collaborating with school teams, and delivering high‑quality speech and language services across multiple grade levels.

Requirements

  • Michigan SLP License (active and valid)

  • Must be willing to work onsite onlyno virtual services permitted

  • Experience with school‑based caseloads preferred

  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy to K–12 students in individual and group settings

  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and determine eligibility for services

  • Develop and implement IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines

  • Support students using AAC when needed

  • Deliver services across assigned school buildings within the district
