Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid Florida State License
- Experience supporting elementary-aged children, ideally within school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage scheduling
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary school students
- Work closely with educators and school staff to develop and implement targeted therapy plans
- Provide direct one-on-one care and therapeutic support to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate in meetings with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education to deliver the highest level of care
