Step into a rewarding role supporting student success through speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near Eden Prairie, MN. This contract opportunity starts in mid-August, aligning with new staff orientation and the formal school year kickoff on August 24, 2026.
There are two positions available to suit your professional strengths and interests:
- One role focuses on serving students in grades 6 through 12.
- The second offers variety, working with both elementary students and older students (grades 6–12) who attend online classes.
With manageable caseloads of 40 to 55 students and a full-time schedule of 38.75 hours per week (including paid lunch breaks), you’ll play a meaningful part in helping students thrive. The school welcomes both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible for Minnesota SLP licensure/ASHA CCCs, or qualified SLP-CFY candidates
- Experience with K–12 populations in either onsite or teletherapy settings is valued
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned student groups
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and report progress toward student goals
- Engage positively with students, families, and school staff to support learning outcomes
- Participate in school-related meetings, professional development, and new staff orientation
