Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, guiding students from early childhood through 12th grade in their communication development. As a valued member of a collaborative team, you’ll lend your expertise in a supportive environment, covering for colleagues on leave and rotating between elementary (K-5) and high school (9-12) caseloads throughout the school year. The assignment spans from August 24, 2025, through approximately March 31, 2026, offering a rewarding full-time, 40-hour weekly contract role with opportunities to make a lasting, positive impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Successful completion of a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Demonstrated experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt seamlessly between elementary and secondary student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 45-50 students, ages ECSE through 12th grade
- Rotate between K-5 and 9-12 student assignments, adapting to evolving needs throughout the assignment period
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and maintain thorough progress documentation in compliance with school procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators to foster student growth and inclusion
- Offer training and support to school staff as needed
